Hi I'm Boonie. a nick my family stuck me with a long time ago.I'm in the process of selling a bay boat and then buying a 1989 340 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge.A friend and I are planning to bring her down from Sturgeon Bay Wi. to Mobile Bay.Spoke with several people about fuel stops .The longest is Kentucky to Tenn River, roughly 250 miles. Some of these vessels list fuel tank @ 204,some @ 250.Does anyone know which it is?If it's the 204 we'll be taking along some bladders.Does anyone know what milage I can expect?Thank you.I'm excited to soon be a Sea Ray owner.PS. I plan to live aboard and dock her @ Holiday Harbor in Perdido Key Fl.

Welcome aboard. The late 80s sea rays are built strong and are great boats. Best of luck with the purchase and trip.

Thank's Pryojodge,I plan on living aboard and doing some cruising and offshore fishing...Bill

What type of fuel milage do you get out of your's?

I burn about 14 gal hr at 2600 rpm. That's about 20mph cruise for me. You will burn more because of your added structure. I would look up Rondds on here as he was a bridge boat guy and very helpful.

Welcome aboard, and all the best with your plans.

I'm looking at a 1989 sea ray 340 sedan bridge too. I want to cruise interisland and fuel docks are few and far between.
What's your experience been? And are the sea worthy?
