hi everyone! im new here and to owning a boat. hoping for some advice on a 1974 searay srv 190 with straight six mercruiser 165 hp. it looks ok on the outside but the interior is shot. would it be a good buy for 2000 2500? how fast is it?decent fuel economy? all help will be appreciated.

First welcome to SeaRay ownership. Dont know of to many Rays with that combination but there is an older Thompson in our marina with that combination. If you take care of it you should be ok. The boat in our marina just finally rebuilt the motor last year with 3100 hrs on it. The boat is fishing constantly. It is said to be very good on fuel but no powerhouse! Thats all I can tell you.
