  Finally got the boat we wanted, new 2006 270 Amberjack. Comfort for the "Admiral" and plenty of fishing space for the "swabby". Picked up on Wed and got it wet yesterday and had a blast. Still need to rig it with electronics and fish gear, but figure I'll take some time getting familiar with handling. Found a wealth of knowledge on this site so far and will be asking plenty of questions.

Special Thanks to the owners of "Arrrh & Arrrh" for all the consultations and training. :smt038

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pic of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 .

Traded in a 1997 Glastron 175 for the 270. Great little boat we bought new in North Caroline, trailored it to alaska for 6 years and drug it back south a few years ago. Boating season in alaska is only a few months, but we used it every chance we could. When we moved to Panama City, I wanted a more capable boat to get out of the pass and into deep water for fishing. Had the 270 out all weekend and had a blast. Great party with other Sea Ray owners on Shell Island. Looking forward to next weekend.

Congrats! and welcome to the board! Can't wait to see a picture or two of your new ride!!!

Eaglekeeper is my dock neighbor, and it is a great boat. Welcome to both neighborhoods!
