New member, new (old) boat!

Hi all!

My name is Evan, and I'm beyond excited to be joining the ranks of Sea Ray owners. I just purchased a 1981 310 Express. It runs twin straight-drive 5.7L Mercruiser V8s and is outfitted with new electronics, upgraded instruments, and 200-gallon fuel capacity.

I've never owned something in this length class, so I'm looking forward to lots of learning and adventures. I'm sure I'll be back soon to pick the knowledge base on here.

Thanks for the welcome! My new toy is currently docked on Kerr Lake (the NC side) and is paid for through April. So sometime next year I'll hopefully be relocating to the coast. But I have until then to learn all about piloting and maintaining her. Likely with a whole lot of advice from the members here!

Any other Kerr Lake cruisers on here?

is the boat called a Vanguard? It was my last boat. It has the fiberglass pulpit with tunnel drives. it was also not white but ivory
