New member needs 1984 sundancer engine vents

Greetings,
I just joined and am glad to have found a site with other Sea Ray owners. I just purchased a well maintained, great lakes kept, 1984 27 Sundancer to take with us to Florida during the winter. While being pulled by hand into the haul out slip the dockboy got distracted and broke off the starboard side engine vent. Any suggestions on where to find a replacement? The piece broke in two and sunk immediately.
Thanks,
Jack Bonczyk

Try a local marine store. There are companies that still produce similar vents and any good store should be able to help you. Old boats are great, but they are going to need things. It would probably be a good idea to establish a relationship with a local store. There's really no need for this store to be a Sea Ray dealer. If your local Sea Ray dealer has a good aftermarket parts department, then that's fine.
