hello everyone my name it doug and I recently purchased my fist sea ray a 270 sundancer. I have had a couple bayliner runabouts but this will be a new experience for me. I look forward to reading forums and learning from all you.

Welcome. Though I am from PA, I just bought a 260DA from a dealer in MN - and bought a small stuffed moose to put on the boat as a reminder of her roots :smt043

Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome....That also was our first cruiser 95' 270 Sundancer!

We just bought a 96' 400 Sedan Bridge lots of projects before the May splash!!

Good Luck to you:smt038

Welcome from a fellow minnesotan and I'm a first time boat owner too.

Where will you be doing most of your boating? So far for me it's been on the St Croix/Mississippi.

Jabs I also spend most of my water time on the st croix. hang out alot at kinnekinic. spent a lot of time there last year. have a few friends with boats anything from a 1970 centery ta a 96 320 sundancer (I think thats the year). I have a 1990 1850 bayliner also. hope to see you out there next year
Doug:thumbsup:

Welcome aboard. Having a new toy this time of year makes Winter seem that much longer. Glad to have another Minnesotan on board.
Maybe we will see you up on the 'kinney. Will you be slipping it (if so where) or will you be trailering it? We are slipped down by Red Wing.

Congrats on the new boat. I am from MN also, do my boating on the rivers.

Question - For those on the river, which marina do you like if you spend most of your time at kinney? I was at Miss Croix this year, not sure where next year.

I did the sea trial for the 260DA I just bought on the St. Croix - near Lakeland. Wish I had had some time to explore the river but it was 45 minutes of business in crappy weather so didn't see much unfortunately...

Currently at TI. Like being up river of the lock. But am still able to get to your area easily.

I am waiting to see if there is going to be an opening at leo's landing in Prescott, my ex and her husband are in there and recommended them. I'm already on the waiting list. if not I am thinking about Kings Cove. Glad to see a lot of minnesotans who are in this area hope to meet you all out on the water. and yes it already becoming a long winter and it hasn't even started yet.

We used to be at Kings Cove, I can't imagine that Miss Croix isn't an improvement. What was wrong over there?

We receive all of the local channels and sub-channels. We upgraded our Glomex antenna (digital) and our television this past season. I would guess there are 8 or 9 local channels plus the subs. Reception was much better than I thought.

Hey, nice to see a fellow Kinnikinnician here. We spend almost every nice weekend day on the Kinni.

I too am looking for a slip in Prescott and am also considering King's Cove.

You going to the Mpls boat show this coming weekend?
