Hello All

My name's Rick, I live in the UK and have just joined the forum (please treat me gently!!).

Not an owner yet, but not new to boating and and have decided on a Sea Ray as my first *real* boat purchase. Hoping to get a 20 or 22 Sundeck over the next few months after having researched how I'd be using a boat nowadays.

I'll be asking for a few bits of advice from you all if you don't mind - I'm kind of happy with the overall options, but have some queries around outdrive choices, servicing and so on (bit of a newbie to the Sea Ray options).

From spending time on the forums there are some pretty knowledgeable / helpful people out there, so thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers

Rick

Welcome to CSR Rick, You have found a great place here with a lot of great people willing to help.

Greetings from America's only Sky Blues Fan!

Welcome to the board - Good luck with your purchase...pictures pls...:smt038

Thanks for the welcome all - no doubt I'll be pestering everyone soon with questions......and maybe (just maybe) in the future I might be able to answer some too!

Skippy - I take it you mean you are a Coventry fan??

Ha Ha - I never ever thought I would be discussing football on this forum (hope I don't get banned!!).

I'm a United fan (don't start - lived in Manc all my life, been watching them since i was four, still got season tickets blah blah blah) so I'll suspend further Coventry comments until later in the season - all i'll say is enjoy the top of the table, let's see if you can get promoted this year!!! I guess from your comments and your boat pic you are a Brit over in the US??

bBack to boating - I'll be using my boat in North Wales (don't know if you are familiar) - mooring it in relatively cold sea from April until September. The main thing I'm concerned about is care for the engine / drives after use in the sea - as I won't be able to flush it while it's moored (or will i??), so I'm wondering if there is any general advice.

If you have any let me know; I'll probably post a topic soon anyway.

Cheers

Rick

I've lived here for 18yrs (The Admiral is American) but you know you can take the boy out of Coventry but you can't take the Coventry out of the boy!

Altogether now " while we sing together...play up sky blues...when we sing together, we will never lose" etc etc
