Hello,
We are about to purchase a 1989 SeaRay 220 Cuddy Cabin. The boat has been kept in the water in a covered slip for the past 20 years on Lake Mead. I cant wait to take ownership. I know it might need a little work here and there but we are getting a great deal and figured with a little money and some work, it will be good as new. The seller took us out for a test drive over the weekend and it runs strong and smooth. I will post some pics as soon as possible.

Welcome to the group, everyone is very helpful and CSR is a valuable tool for any boat owner

Thanks for welcoming me aboard. I'm going to see the boat again on sunday before I shell out the cash. Any recommendations on things that could be a huge red flag?
Thanks,
Dave

Well after the second visit to the boat, I am very confident in this purchase. I should be a SeaRay owner this week. I'll post pics soon.

Welcome to CSR -come join us at Temple Bar Marina for a BBQ and cocktails with some R&B-Dock 4

Sounds good. The boat is docked at Callville so we might just make our way over there. We hope to be able to enjoy it for a while before it gets too cold out there.

Welcome aboard

I was thinkin' the same thing...

I think you have to go over to the Hoover Dam to find water. Lake Mead????

That's funny but true. Lake Mead is actually a very big lake. Hopefully the Eastern Rockies gets plenty of snow this year so the water level comes up a bit.
We are looking forward to cruising across the lake and checking out the Hoover Dam.

60 feeling like 80-bring a jacket and ski cap should the wind kick up-be sure and visit Lake Mead- Hoover Dam-see the show 'Love'-a Cirque Solei presentation that is epic!

Will have plenty of warm gear with us. Spending the previous week, Christmas in Whistler, Canada, then New Year in LV.
We have 7 days in Vegas, any recommendations for te best way/operator to visit the Grand Canyon

I would definitely recommend taking a sundance helicopter flight. It's quick and an incredible experience.
