Hello,
I searched a long time for a forum like this...
I have a 1987 160 seville closed bow, and I'm looking for parts. It's impossible in France...

Welcome - What kind of parts are you looking for?

Welcome to the board there Frenchy! You would be our first. Proud to have you here.

We are getting really international now.

Lets see:

England / France / Netherlands / Ireland / Australia / California What great countries. Opps, forgot California ain't a country...Arnold just thinks it is. :smt043

thanks a lot

Hi,
Thanks for your messages of welcome.
I'm looking for a ladder and for a windshield bracket. Not around the windows, but one of the two vertical support, like a stainless stick, between the dashboard and the windshield. It's difficult to explain... You know what I mean?

Thanks Dave,
I've already downloaded the searay archive for my boat. The fact is that when I contact sea ray in Us, they tell me to reach my french retailor. But, you know, in France it's difficult to obtain old pieces... And it's like this for every foreign stuff. It's a problem for me because I only enjoy us boats and us cars... I'm a Jeep addict too! 1 CJ7, 2 wrangler, 2 grand cherokee (not at the same time!!)
We make good wine, that's all!!
I keep searching...

Bonjour comment il va ?

Sympathiquement pour voir ici un Français .

Il est ici effectivement internationale.

Le peter

Or something like that

Benoit, you might try just browsing the internet for people with boats like yours. Look for someone who is 'parting out' their boat, and see if they will send you the parts you need, and decide on a price.

It did this with a side window frame and a rear casting on my 1962 Glaspar. I was fortunate that there is a classic Glaspar site. A guy in New York, across the US from me, had an boat in poor condition in his yard. His wife wanted it gone. He agreed to sell me the parts, and then I think just took the rest to the junkyard.

Something like that might work for you.

By the way, welcome to the board. Where do you operate your boat?

Dave
