Hello,
I just closed on a 2010 450 Sundancer last Friday. It will be transported up in the next couple weeks to Michigan from Key West. This is my first boat since a 5 year stint back in 2000. My wife and I are anxiously waiting for the season to start. Looking forward to getting involved and exploring the CSR Forum.

Cheers....Brad

Welcome to the site Brad. We spend a lot of time in Anchor Bay at Munchies and like to check out the surrounding area (either in big boat or dinghy).
Congrats on the new to you 450. Awesome boat!

Did you spend any time boating in the Keys and/or Bahamas? This could really be a "once in a lifetime" opportunity to do so.......also, if you end up a bit further north, transportation will be far cheaper - its a PIA trucking a boat like that out of the keys.....Congrats on the new boat!

CONGRATS!!! I agree with moving the boat north before the haul out and transport. I have a very reputable captain if you choose to do that.

Congrats Brad and welcome aboard. Awesome boat. I second JAVENIUS is a great guy. He sold me my dinghy. Go to the "Great Lakes" forum and check in on the Lake St. Clair thread also. Meet some others that are in our area. Good Luck getting that big thing home. Hopefully we'll see you out on the lake and don't forget pictures.....

Brad, is this yours?

Thank you Brent Nutting. We are so anxious to get out there. If this Michigan weather would just cooperate!

Yea we had it captained to Lauderdale Marine Center and then trucked up from there. Was still surprised at just how expensive it was to ship. That's what everyone said too about "once in a lifetime" opportunity to spend time down there with it before shipping. In hindsight I should have planned that better.

Congrats Brad, and welcome! Beautiful boat! We have a CSR member who also has a 2010 450DA at MacRay. He's had it since new. His name here is "JAVENIUS". He's a great guy - give him a holler.
Thank you Roller Coaster. You know now that you say that I think I saw that in one of the post. I will definitely look him up. Thank you!!!!

Beautiful boat. Just gorgeous. I love the 450 in that vintage ...one of my all time favorites. One day. Congrats to you Brad! I’m sure you will enjoy it!

Hello Brad. Well it appears we've already been introduced. Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Welcome to the Great Lakes and MacRay Harbor. We have been there since 2002 and love it.

Let me know if you'd like any local knowledge about the area or Great Lakes destinations. We've been just about everywhere from Buffalo to the North Channel, to northern Lake Michigan.

As stated by RollerCoastr above, we bought our 2010 450 new in 2011. It has been a great boat for us. Hopefully you'll enjoy yours as much.

We are on Amber. What well are you in? Not sure when I'm launching yet, but hopefully soon.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Jim

Hello Jim. Haha, yes you are right....it does appear that we were already somewhat introduced. A while ago I noticed a post from you and that there was a 450 DA at MacRay's. So I have been keeping an eye open for you.

I almost rented a slip on Amber #174 I believe it was. I ended up renting one on Mr Mac.

I'm looking forward to meeting you as well.

Cheers, Brad
