Welcome aboard! Information about almost any boat and most areas of the country, if not the world is available on this site. You can look through each of the topic headings and see which one matches what you want to ask, such as Sport Boats and the Carolinas.

Even though I am in NY, my parents moved to SC in 1999. My mother still lives in Patrick near Cheraw, which I believe is not too far from Lake Wylie.

Hi Cman,

Welcome to the club! What would you like to know about Lake Wylie? We boat there almost exclusively. Where do you keep your boat, or where do you launch from? We usually launch from Copperhead Island; if not, then Niven's Creek.

Thanks,
John

Cman welcome. Wylie is a great lake, and has two actual sand bars to anchor on. One on the north end, one on the south end. Both can be fun.
LKN is much larger and you can actually slow criuse to a destination, or find a cove to socalize in. You know cliff and there are a few others here.
Good luck with your boat, I know the previous owner and know it is in great shape.
