plugged my 2003 410DA into the new power pedestals in Port Austin, mich, and tripped the circuit breaker on the whole dock. the new pedestals were installed to protect the surrounding water from stray current releasing from boats to the water. the issue was traced to two items on my boat. 1. AC pump and 2. the battery charger/converter.
i checked the grounds and they look solid.
has anyone else seen this issue?
any thoughts on how to fix?

Is your boat's shore power 240V or twin 120V.

If twin 120V make sure the neutrals are isolated between the two shore powers and that the neutrals from the faulting circuits go to the correct neutral bus.

That is, if the AC Pump pulls off Line 1 but it's neutral is connected to the Line 2 bus you will get a fault.
