New Hilton Head SC Member

Hey John, I never made it to the boat today, work got in the way. Just got home about 20 mins ago actually. Will try and get there Fri. and grab those parts. Todd
 
Looking for info to cruise from the Harbor Town Yacht Club to Savannah and back via the ICW? We base in Beaufort and regularly take the ride from there to HTYC and back on about 10-12 gallons in our little 175 (looks like it measures in at around 50ish miles). We have a 21 gallon tank. We'd like to continue on to Savannah and are interested in how many extra miles that might be and whether we'd be forced out into the ocean for any of it.
 
Hey guy's sure miss the Beaufort river up to the whale branch. Lived in beaufort for a number of years before relocating to NC.

If any of you know Hilton Head Disposal or Southern Disposal then you would know my old business partner.

I had a house on Broad River and worked on HHI. Sure miss the folks but not the heat and knats. We come to HHI on vacation every year. Anyone located in Shelter Cove?

Were you around when they reworked the Beaufort waterfront a few years ago? This is the best pic I have of it.

The noseeums are tough to deal with during spring and fall. Other than that the heat/humidity and regular mosquitos don't bother me (thanks to deet).

We rented an awesome cottage on the Whale Branch for a week in May and a week in Aug last yr. Love that area!
 
Back in a day I owned Field Repair Service in Beaufort and did repair work in Beaufort and HHI. I had 5 service trucks and did everything from iron railing to heavy equipment repair. I had every decal for every plantation at $200.00 a pop X 5 trucks. Even worked on some trawlers and shrimp boats.

I am posting the pics I took from the last time we were down there.
