Well I figured I need to introduce myself. I'm a college student in Knoxville Tennessee that grew up on the lake in Chattanoota Tennessee. My love for sea rays started back in 95 when my family bought a 200 signature BR new after our old boat melted in a drystorage fire (the other end of the building was set on fire, our boat didn't burn but melted a bit).
We've been loving it ever since. It sleeps at night under a cover on a lift inside our boathouse so it is still in great condition so it really doesn't seem 14 years old at all. Most people think it is a few years but not that many.
In highschool i worked at the local yacht club as I wanted a job around things I loved, the water and boats. Loved the job and worked my butt off doing it but was able to save up for what we call the "winter boat". (our searay sits in the boathouse during the winter and the lake drops enough so that we can't get it out).
The winter boat (aka the beater or any four letter word that I can think of when it breaks) is a 97 booliner 160 with a 75 outboard (we were looking for a cheap boat with an outboard, it fit the bill). I love the boat but they are cheaply built! Makes the searay feel SOOOOO nice everytime we wake it up from hibernation.
Well thats my mini book... I love the water and I am on it as much as possible, actually looked at buying a 70 ft houseboat to live on during college but couldn't find a place to keep it in knoxville.
