No boat....no engines
My new Fusion IP700 arrived today. It is going into the 50 footer this weekend. This stereo head has 4 separate zones and all functions are controlable with my iPad from anywhere on the boat. The volume in each zone can be adjusted separately. I will have the zones set up in the 2 staterooms, the salon and the bridge/aft deck.

The coolest thing about this was that West Marine listed it for $449. They say they will price match so I found it at Starmarine.com for $351. I called WM and gave them the details and they matched the price. Then I asked if they would accept a $50 gift card. Yep. Next I asked about the $90 in WM Advantage coupons I had. Yes again. When it was all over with it cost me $211 plus tax and shipping.

Sometimes shopping at WM works. I'll let you know how the install goes.

I didn't know that WM did price matching over the phone, that is great information.

I think that Fusion is the best on the market in many ways. The discussion that I had with their technical support folks indicated that their support for streaming music is weak so I went a different direction. If this changes in the future I will probably make a swap.

Sweet... I've been waiting for my AV 700 to come in. Let us know how you like it.

I installed a Fusion last year and am very happy with it. Mine has 3 zones......4 would be great! How many are Aux outs? My current one only has one. I really need 2.

Did you get the remote station? Do I really need to have it as well?

I am planning to use my iPad for all of the remote functions. I will install like this for starters and see what else I might need.

I was thinking the same thing but the way the info reads I wasn't sure I could
