Just purchased a 2002 Sundancer 310 with 5.7L bravo 3s. The boat looks about 2 years old with some minor work in progress.

The main cabin door had a blown out truck. I disassembled it and am waiting on a new truck. I can’t find the brown caulk to replace the outer lid.

The Ray 230 vhf cord is trashed. I googled and called for a day, and found a replacement cord that was lost on a shelf. As far as I can tell it’s one of the last ones available as it was discontinued. $90 later and the helm is looking good.

Gauges...I’d like to replace all of the wood grain mountings with the black/silver mounting trim and change the gauges to white faces. Is there an affordable way to do this? Possible a few digital gauges? The sync does not agree with the rpms. I can tell the sync is right, but 1 engine is not. Not sure how to tell which one is reading incorrectly.

I’ll end up replacing the deck carpet with Seadek or similar for the deck and swim platform next year.

Other than that the boat doesn’t feel more than a few years old.

Welcome! I have a 1995 330 Sundancer and I am out of Windmill Marina and am a member of the St. Croix Yacht Club. This is the best forum on the internet. PM if you have any questions about the St. Croix or anything else!

We're likely moving to Windmill next year, but considering Bayport or Stillwater as well. Not sure about saving money there or going for the nicer facilities. Still figuring out the river! Do you pay for winterizing or do it yourself? I'm looking to learn myself and save some bucks there too, and just paying to have it wrapped. Currently planning to use Sams.

We love Windmill, we treat it as our second home. It's a gorgeous marina, very proctected, amazing service department, walking distance to all the places in downtown Afton. There is no pool there............but we swim in the river, hence why we have a boat. I pay the marina to do everything, except wash and wax, I do that myself. Windmill bubbles boats under cover slips. We do this and it allows us to "use" our boat year around. I just had them pull the boat this week, redo the bottom paint, check zincs, etc and I will splash it tomorrow and keep it in the water another 4 years. We go down all the time in the winter after skiing at Afton Alps and turn the stereo on, have a few beers and the kids cuddle up in sleeping bags and watch movies (as long as it isn't below zero). We are last ones out and first ones in, I would say it extends our boating season by a good month during the year. Any other questions feel free to text me 651-five 0 three - two two36
