Hello everyone. Just picked up an 07 240DA. Absolutely beautiful boat and very well maintained with only 81hours. I've been doing a lot of research on here and looking forward joining the group!

Wow Davis bayou is just few miles from us. Actually we pass by there where we launch. Small world. West tip of horn island is our go to spot.My grandparents lived on Davis Bayou at Eagle Point. Had to drive through Magnolia State Park and the Gulf Shore Research Institute to get there. That used to be a 4H Camp. I was there the day before Camille hit in August 1969. I was there before the alligators moved in….fun times fishing, crabbing, and shrimping. Got caught out at Horn Island in early 70’s when a freak storm rolled in. The next day the papers said ‘Hurricane Force Winds’. We were in a 21 foot Anacapri (?) in 12 foot following seas. Good times.

So was I. I was stationed at Keesler AFB when Camille came to say hello. We spent a week without power or water and hauled a garbage can with a plastic bag liner to a water distribution site. Many, many stories to tell about the time Camille came to dinner!I was there the day before Camille hit in August 1969. Jaybeaux
