New forum participant from Sea Ray's home office.

Welcome and, like others, thank you for introducing yourself. We all love our Sea Rays very much...even Scott! ;)

Welcome Matt, we appreciate you coming to the table and we appreciate your transparency.
So, may I ask what your goals are (either personally or professionally) for joining us?

Matt,

I know you have following CSR for nearly a year and I hope you will join Rusty (the only other Sea Ray employee who is active here) and take a more active roll on CSR. If you are as committed as Rusty is to the future success of Sea Ray, then you can count on our support.

We value the relationship we have built over the years with your company and, quite honestly been a little shell shocked at clinical press release after press release announcing the management changes and plant closures in the past few months. Rusty Higgins posting the poem by Tom Coyle on Tom's final day of work was a stroke of genius on Rusty's part since it showed the class, professionalism and a positive outlook the Sykes Creek employees continued to exhibit while experiencing the absolute worst event a committed group of long term employees could ever face. The poem served to help us realize the reality of the changes necessary to stay competitive in the industry, added to the respect the owners have for the brand and helped us see the reorganization in a more positive light .

Thank you for participating here and for sharing Rusty's time and experience with us. We appreciate you both.

Welcome aboard, I like others look forward to not only your input but your insight as well

Welcome aboard Matt, give me a call when you have a chance to continue our conversation. Looking forward to what Sea Ray has planned moving forward!

Welcome aboard from this side of the pond too.

May I add I'm with Scott on the new designs from Sea Ray? I'd like them to be more "american"!

I too look forward to your posts Matt because I believe your perspective and insight will be interesting. Although my boat is recreational, it serves a purpose far beyond just a hobby. It is truly a lifestyle (not just a slogan) and frequently major decisions revolve around it. That's how we roll right, wrong or indifferent. So, appreciate the passion and be resolute in developing a trusting relationship with these folks. I know that's what I'll be looking for from you solely because of your position...especially knowing you're a marketer ;)

Excited to see the support from Sea Ray - where we can discuss the overall experience of Sea Ray and boating and the company is listening and responding. Really love my 320 Sundancer, my third Sea Ray.

Welcome aboard Matt from Australa.

I love the colour of that water

From another old timer here Welcome aboard.
Now about that Sea Ray CSR homecoming this year..... (grin)

Glad to have you on board Matt. I'm sure you will learn a lot about Sea Ray owners from this site and hopefully we will learn from you as well.

Welcome Matt, I think this Forum will give you and Sea Ray a Good Idea as to Problems and Pluses of the Brand and the Vendors products that SR chooses.

Matt,

Thank you for joining. This should be beneficial to SR and CSR.

By the way, anything you can share with us regarding the 350 SLX?
