See that little link on the top right of the screen thats says "Virtual Marina"? Click it, if you are logged in you can add a boat. Since the feature is new I'm sure there will be some bugs to work out so please be patient. You can upload 5 photos for the boat, plus you can upload photos for modifications and customizations you have done. It is all self explanatory. If not post your Q's here.

I think I will need to approve new models as they are added. So if your boat doesn't show up right away for the public to see please be patient, I will check a few times a day to approve new models.

Looks very nice, I went in to just add a few pictures to see how it looks. Worked like a charm!!! Very nice feature. :thumbsup:

Like the Link under our name, location, info on the left...very cool!!! Can we use this feature gallery for our signature picture, mine does not seem to work.

I'm not sure why its not working in your sig. Those pictures in the sigs really slow things down anyway, better to make them as an avatar, then people can click your link under teh avatar to see your boat.

Alex, not sure why your link is not working, I noticed that too. I'll check on it and get back to you at some point.
 
Alex, try adding your boat again, then make the new one you add your main boat, then see if the link appears.
 
The trick is that you need to click "Set as Main Boat" before the link appears !!!

Hi Everybody, a couple of the boats were deleted by accident, here is why - a few of you that jumped right on this feature were inpputting your boats while I was still fine tuning some of the code. Consequently "Sea Ray" got put on the database twice which could have really screwed things up in the future. I deleted one instance of Sea Ray on the database so we are left with just once instance of Sea Ray. At this point nobody should have to type in the name Sea Ray when you are inputting your boat as it should be in the drop down list.

This is a one-time correction that will not happen again. It was just due to timing while importing and editing the code. Again, I'm sorry, and stick your boats back on there :grin: :thumbsup:
 
When adding boats, please review the list of models carefully to make sure your model is not listed before adding your model. If it looks like your model has already been entered, but a previous user entered it incorrectly, please choose that model anyway and let us know to edit the entry to be listed the proper way. For example, 240DA and 240 Sundancer. If you see either choose it, but if you want it listed the other way please let us know and we can edit it if need be.
 
Ok Jim, great new feature, but for some reason can not get mine to show up. I added the 240 Sundeck to the models. Would not show up, but if I selected a 185 worked. So I tried to add a 240 SD still no luck. :smt100
Do we have a problem with sundecks that I don't know about :smt089
 
Alex can you see my 240 in the Virtual Marina? I can not see it yet.

Its added now. In order to maintain an orderly database new models must be approved by the almighty admin. Otherwise it could turn into a real mess as we build the database. Thanks for adding your boat. i think you added it twice so just go into your virtual marina and delete one. Thanks!
