I've been looking at this boat and just noticed on the Sea Ray site that it can now be built with a 115 Merc (in addition to the 150 which was previously the only option). For those that have the 19 SPX OB, do you think the 115 will be sufficient for pulling a skier?

Looks like they are increasing the new model year price but trying to keep the "SmartStart" pricing under 30k. To do this they are changing out the standard 150 to a 115. Having the 150, I would say it is a perfect power choice for this boat. Quiet, fast and powerful. I would pay the extra 2200 to get it. Even loaded with many options this boat is still an incredible value for a boat this size. And best of all...it's a SeaRay!

Go with the 150. We have a 18 ft center console with a 115, it struggles with more than 2 people. We need more power Scotty.
