New CSR Advertiser - Gioia Sails - OEM Canvas

Gioia does some nice work. Almost had them make some new canvas for Just Ducky last year, but they could not get to me for a couple of months. The real deal killer wasn't their fault, the idiot marina manager wanted to add some vig to the price.

Since I didn't need anything custom, just ordered from Great Lakes, which was faster, much less expensive, fit perfectly well, and screwed Bob the Boob out of his vigorish. They are definitely the go-to guys if you want something different that what Sea Ray offered from the factory. Nope, sorry. No hidden message here. Nothing to see folks. Move along. Move along.

Best regards,
Frank

Welcome aboard, and thanks you for supporting CSR.

Gioia made a bridge cover for me in the fall of 2007. Excellent work, great price and Terry is the best. They also made full canvas with camperback for a friend of mine who has a sistership of Just Ducky. Also great work and great price.

Gioia - Thanks for supporting the site....sorry for the little train wreck you experienced (if you noticed)...it seems the kids jumped the fence of the holding tank and found their way into the welcome our newest supporter thread.

Again welcome to CSR, post some pictures of your work if you get a chance...it seems you are already known by some of our members and it sounds like you do great work. Again welcome to the board....To the members that got their post deleted I personally think anyone who fights with other members on a message board is either a dork or troll...which are you? And I can't believe you actually read this. :)

Can you take pictures of the reclining sunpads and post them?

Not that I don't trust them... but would like to see their work. They providing all the hardware that has to be mounted? You have to admit its fun watching the guy have a melt down.

Thanks
From the 2009 48 DA.

No worries about the kids... I know how the Internet can be...

Check out our website www.GioiaSailsSouth.com for some pictures. I am working on a new SeaRay section with some updated custom pictures that should be up towards the end of the week.

Thanks again for everyone's interest.

Derek

I guess I didn't realize you were the OEM vendor for Sea Ray... good enough for me.

Great! Happy we could help!

Nice. But I don't think Susie will let Gary order the cushions with the displayed ... accessories.

Derek, I will also shoot this question to your website. One of the biggest aggravations is my rear canvas. It's either closed or completely off (which is a two person process) I know the 40's and higher have rear canvas that can be unzipped in two spots, rolled up, then secured when you want some temporary air.

Is there a way to construct/modify a canvas that does what I want?

Hey Chris - I just sent you a PM - should be no problem to accommodate your request. :smt038

I would be interested in the exact same thing. Could you send me details? I'm also in need of a new sunpad for the bow, one that has a reclining back would be very nice even if its 1/3 the size of Gary's. Have my old one in GC for a template.

Sent you a PM with details!

We do not have patterns from that vintage but our Lakewood, NJ shop may be able to pattern it and do the job. If you are interested, send me an email with all your contact/boat info and I will get in-touch with the NJ shop to set something up.
