We are in Baja Mexico for the winter and normally use our debit card for money at ATM Machines. In our area there are 2 banks each
with an ATM machine and two other places that have ATM machines. Our ATM debit card and VISA and Mastercard do not work at any.
They worked last year but had majnetic stips on them.
The banks say it is the new CHIP in the US and Canada and others have had the same problem.
Question
Has any one had this problem. If yes was there a solution?
Our bank is courering us new cards but they are not sure if they will work.
