So here I'm in Afghanistan...I had my brother go out to Eagle Mountain Lake in Texas to look at an 84 Sea Ray....He writes me back and says that it needed alot of work, but the marina attendant said they had a customer that wanted to sell his 79 Sea Ray and it was in pristine condition (for a 79). My brother Bob goes and takes a look....it's pretty awesome, he says....some of the gauges don't work....no problem, my brother is an automotive electrician...everything else is good. So I had him make the deal (it was cheaper than the 84...which was a 220). So I've got 7 months to get out of Crackistan and get wet with my Sea Ray, whooohoo!:wow:

Just wanted to say Hi! and introduce myself to the Group!

Nice looking boat! We became new owners of our vintage 260 last July and it has been so much fun (after Hubby overhauled the dual outdrives, lol) Just getting started on the Boat's Spring projects now! Enjoy your boat, and welcome home!
