New Canvas for 400DA

Does anyone know who the OEM is/was for 1997 400DA? canvas
If you can believe it, I still am using the original canvas.I have replace a number of pieces and made lots of repairs over th years but age is finally taking it's toll. Fortunately I also had a full mooring cover made when purchased the boat so this takes the brunt of the weather.
I have priced out all new canvas in our area but we are down to only a handful of canvas makers. Someone should tell them we are in a recession.
I thought possibly the OEM may still have patterns for these canvas. Not sure if they will be more reasonable but worth a shot.

I have a 92' and I finally replaced the orig canvas at the end of last season, it was made by Great lakes Canvas (according to the sticker). Look for a tag of some sort on yours - they did OEM for Sea Ray in the 90's and may have the pattern for your boat. try here http://www.greatlakesboattop.com/

I just replaced mine on my 400 DA and the work was done by Goia in NJ....so I have the pattern they made if that helps.

Are you referring to Omega? I checked with them a few years ago but they seemed high. Maybe as you say, business is soft. I will ask again

I will contact Great Lakes to see what they have. I did not find any label on my current canvas indicating who the OEM was. I may try to contact the guys down at Merrit Island, FL where the SR fcty is.

Thank you for this info. The pattern might help. I will try to contact them to see if they can work from your pattern. They might be able to make slight fit adjustments when placing the new snaps. It's certainly worth a try.

Where you still using the original canvas on your '97 as well or is it just me who went this long on original canvas.

I have to admit that for the age, mine still looks fairly good. I put all new windows in several years ago. My Velcro has been changes several times already but will no longer hold. The seams are starting to show signs of failure. I think I have just about got my money's worth on these.
