Hey all.. or is that ahoy?! The wifey and I are new boaters and the proud new owners of a 1998 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer, to be renamed in the near future. We moved to a home off of Frog Mortar Creek, a tributary of Middle River, last Fall. The home conveyed with a slip on the community docks, so we had to fill it!

We're just getting into boating with the help of some very cool, helpful, friendly boating neighbors that are literally showing us the ropes and more. Boating safety class is now complete, so we have those nice little cards even though we're not required by law to get them since we're grandfathered in (we're in our lower forties).

Anyway, looking forward to perusing the forums and learning about our boat, the boating scene, and all the helpful hints we can get. It's a new world for us, but we're taking the slow and steady approach and looking forward to one day being able to explore the Chesapeake Bay and environs on our own!

Howdy!

I bought my boat from a guy on Frog Mortar Creek. My very 1st trip as a Sea Ray owner was from FMC to Bill's Boats on Millers Island. Boy was I nervous. Hope we see you out there!

Pat,
We are at Parkside Marina!

Well, we are going to be at Parkside Marina this Saturday if the wind dies down a bit!:wow: We've been trying to return to our slip since May 2!!

Welcome to the site!!!

Congratulations Pat and Welcome Aboard from Fairlee Creek

Pretty sure we've seen Dreamcatcher in our boatyard visits during our shopping around phase. "Diana L" (name of boat we bought... to be changed) was stored at Chesapeake Yachting Center when we found and then bought her. We're right around the corner at the Fairwinds community docks... small world!

Welcome aboard neighbor, Pat and Stacey. We're up in Lauderick Creek, just off the Bush River. It's before the RR bridge. We're headed to Havre de Grace this weekend. Weather is looking favorable.

Welcome to the site and to the Bay! Hope you have a great summer, see you out there..

Captain Hans have a safe trip up to Havre De Grace with the group, short run for you this time! Soccer and Baseball games preventing us from going along this weekend... My birthday weekend too... Well there will be other cruises!!!!

Take Care!!

Happy Birthday Tom.

Captain Hans.. we'll be heading out of Fairlee this Saturday for our shake down cruise. The interior isn't complete yet, but we need to get her out on the water before the trip down to the Severen next Wednesday for the Blue Angles. Hope to see you out on the water.
