Recently purchased a new to me boat. Second Sea Ray, first was a 1996 175, which was a little crowded with 5 people and a dog. Upgraded to a 2006 240 Sundeck and so far I couldn’t be happier. Reading all the past posts from other owners steered me in the direction of the Sundeck, thank you.

Welcome aboard!

We’ve had our 240 for 3 years now. It’s a great boat, plenty of storage and room for a crowd.

That's a nice one, one of the most popular boats SeaRay has built - especially that era, those are the big ones - a current 240SDA is not 24ft. Like the pewter color with black canvas, and the 350mag is the desired engine. Enjoy!

When I first looked at the top photo I would have guessed it was a 360 or 380 Sundancer. It looks much bigger than a 240.

I haven't been aboard one of those but I've heard nothing but good comments about them.

Oh, and welcome aboard CSR. Good way to start your membership by showing a few photos.

Congrats! Look into a keel guard.
I’ve thought about it but have read mixed reviews. We used to be river rats and spent most our time on the river. My wife no longer enjoys hanging out in the sparkling blue waters of the Mississippi and we now spend most the time at the lake where we don’t beach.

I have Keel Guards on both of my Whalers and love 'em. I bought one of the guards, cut it in half and put half on each of the 13' Whalers.

Where do you boat?

Nice, love TRL! Also love Bull Shoals. I have been told by a friend that Mark Twain is similar to the lake I go to, Shelbyville, in central Illinois.

Btw, LMAO when I read "sparkling Blue waters of the Mississippi"

Great looking boat, enjoy!!!

Congrats on an awesome boat. I loved our 220 with the same year and colors as yours. I think that's one of the sharpest color options. Welcome Aboard.... Here's a picture of mine.
