Hello CSR, I just took possession of a new to me '96 370 Sundancer. Picked the boat up at Chickamauga Lake outside of Chattanooga Tn, and driving her to Kentucky Lake. So far it's been an adventure locking through, and weathering a serious thunderstorm, at the same time. My wife has been a trooper on this trip, and in full disclosure, this is HER boat!
I have had quite a learning curve so far, and the info I've gleaned from CSR has been invaluable. This a new type of boating for us, but so far we are loving it.

Thank You. We are doing this at mostly trawler speed, trying to get about 50 or so miles a day depending on how locks go, and suitable marinas on the way. Going to be right at 448 miles for the trip

Damn, now there's a trial by fire (figuratively). Way to jump into it.

Great experience!
Our first bigger boat was a '97 370 Sundancer. Our first trip was from Coral Gables to Wilmington, NC (with a captain). These are great boats and you'll learn a ton on the shake down cruise
So, welcome to CSR

AWESOME!!!! I'm jealous!!!!

I appreciate all of the encouraging comments. Been a little busy over the last week. Just a little update, finally made it to my final destination on Kentucky Lake. Took right at 10 days. Which is longer than I had planned. But between weather, and some very long waits to get through a couple of the 6 locks, that's probably not too terrible. However, lol, we were within 12 miles of our destination when the port engine just quit! As flawless as the boat had been, I was pretty much caught off guard. As near as I can tell, it's the fuel pump. We limped her on in on one engine, and with some help from complete strangers got her tied up in our new slip. I definitely learned how difficult maneuvering in a tight marina is on one engine.
I have a new fuel pump on the way, and hope to be back up by the weekend. And despite the engine quitting, this boat has impressed me quit a bit, and we love it.

Congrats! What an awesome experience. Upload some pics when you have Time.
