New boat finally arrived

Thanks Gents, we are VERY excited. Yesterday was a long day, and overwhelming because I was checking closely for any external damage. I also spent quite a bit of time down below looking for anything obvious that was out of order.

The ship came from France, to L.A., which involved several lifts, but overall, she looks great. Only some minor scuffing, strap marks, dirt, etc.

The Port of LA longshoreman's union were VERY unreasonable for a period of several days while they had control of the boat after the ship put in on the dock. They were then very rude to the truck driver (who is a good guy just trying to make a living), but that is another story.

Headed back to the yard today with the entire family to see her and more pics of course. I am also going to put together a video of the entire journey, starting in Jan to now, and i will share it on this site.

I can honestly say I am somewhat sad to be leaving the Sea Ray family. Our 360 was an excellent boat, that we used every week for 3 years, spent 1-2 overnights per week (year round) and never any problems. I have nothing but good things to say about Sea Ray's.

I will be rafting up with Kevin (Never Say Never) on Labor Day with his 360DB, so I will stay get my Sea Ray fix periodically.

Hope you all have a great summer, and lots of fun on Labor Day!

Very nice boat! Keep us informed on how you like it!

Thanks for the well wishes, I do appreciate it. I took the admiral to the yard this weekend. A couple more pics of drives, and hull underside attached. In addition to bottom paint, I am getting a new through hull installed on the bow for water wash down, and a fresh water pump up there as well. We anchor a lot so figured both fw/sw would be good to have. Boat yards are a fun place to hang out.
