So Saturday afternoon when the sun finally emerged for a few hours I decided to take boat over to New Baltimore to grab some ice cream with the wife and kids.
We arrived and I approached dock. I started backing into a well and everything was good and normal. I got about half way in and I stopped. My wife, which is an awesome admiral knows her way around docking, lines and what to do without even talking to her. She looked at me and said are you going to keep going or....? I said I'm in reverse still. At that very moment the light bulb went off is both our heads. I put her in neutral and looked at the pylons and we were pinched between the two, haha. Yeah I know! We started laughing out loud, we couldn't believe it. I didn't even think about the widths, I just assumed we'd be tight but still fit.
We're bummed cause we like going to Finn's and the ice cream shop. NB wells must be only 12'-12.6".
Moral of the story, keep ice cream in the freezer.
