Here are some pix of the new aft curtain we had made for the boat. Kind of a crummy day for pix but you can get the jest of the makings of a quality job. We used white Sunbrella because it is cool and holds up well in our climate. Heavy duty webbing was used where the snaps are placed because it holds up and does not allow the snap holes to increase in size and loosen the snaps. The snaps are all stainless and the male pieces do not separate from the female pieces due to the strength of the parts. All seams are rolled and there are no raw edges to fray. The curtain snaps to the inside of the radar arch which is good design. In a strong blow with heavy rain, the water does not enter the cockpit, and the heat keeps things toasty warm. Across the bottom of the curtain there is a double layer of material. It is some sort of heavy duty plastic like material that does not chafe from lines rubbing on the canvas. This piece of canvas will go a good ten or more years and still look good.

Looks good!

Guy used to work at the Tiara factory so he knows what he is doing. He made the original canvas for the boat when it was built. I'm still using the original drop curtain which looks like new. The factory aft still looks great too.

Very nice ! I need to do the same at the end of this season
