Hi, Although we've had a Sea Ray for 6 years, I'm new to the forum. We're looking into buying a new 33 sundancer for several reasons--better bed, generator (we haven't had one all these years!!!), walk-thru window, fun outside seating on the bow and back deck, warranty, etc. Oh, and we got the new boat bug at the Norwalk Boat Show. :smt100 Anyone have info or experience about the new 33? And are there any people on this forum from Connecticut? We're in Old Saybrook. Love to hear from anyone. Thanks! Sue

I to was at the norwalk boat show and looked at the new 33. For me the boat seemed very expensive as opposed to the 32 which it was meant to replace. If it were me i would buy a leftover 2007 340 which would give you much more boat for the money at around the same cost as a brand new 08 330.

If I could move up to a newer bigger model, that's precisely what I would get. I had a test ride on one a few months ago and it performed beautifully with those 8 liter motors. It's a great boat in my opinion. :grin:

I've been on the new 33 a couple of times. My biggest complaint is the width (between the front cockpit seats) when entering the cabin. I'm not a big guy, and I have to walk kind of sideways to go below. Just seems very tight to me. There are a lot of features I like, and a lot I don't. IMHO, like dcwjd, I'd probably go with an leftover 340. I know my dealer has an 07 that they've had for 2 seasons and would probably make a great deal on.
