Hi Everyone,

Finally bought a cruiser after years of Bow riders...

What are some of the best online stores for good Sundancer or marine parts that you folks use..

Also, thinking of adding Fresh Water Cooling system.. anyone know the most popular ones, cost, etc...

Thanks so much for the help.

Welcome. I get most of my gear from Amazon. And West Marine. For older Sea Ray specific parts Flounder Pounder is a great source.

If you search for a fresh water conversion you'll probably get a few hits. It's not super common from what I gather, however.

Thanks for your help.

If not Fresh Water Cooling system, then what other systems are people mostly using..?

Perhaps I'm not understanding your question. I had assumed you were interested in converting a raw water cooled motor to fresh water cooled. This does happen from time to time but isn't super common.

Is that what you're talking about?

There's a place somewhere in north western Washington that manufacturers fresh water conversions.
I can't remember the name, or exact town, but they're really honest and reputable.
I'll see if I can't find the name.

Sorry for not being clear. If people use raw water cooling, how do they handle flushing the system, especially for boats that are kept mostly in slips.. is there a way?

Nice Boat!! Yes I am in Lake washington but if I go out on the Sound, I feel more comfortable with either fresh water or coolant cooling systems..

Thank you.
The company is San Juan Engineering.
There are a few companies that sell their product, but when I looked into it I talked to someone at San Juan Engineering.
They talked me out of it, said I shouldn't spend the money for the short time I was going to be in salt water.

Interesting they said..because I was wondering the same thing...

My boat will always be in my slip in lake washington...Occasionally I plan to take her out to the islands for the weekend but then as I come back into fresh water.. I am wondering if the engine will get flushed out enough.

Call them.and talk to them. I only went for one week, then back to fresh water.

yours is an 05 how is the engine, how many hrs? been in salt? it is quite an investment on an older engine. maybe spend some $ where you will enjoy it and wait for the engine replacement, if ever..

i recently replaced my 6.2 raw cooled with a reman 383 fresh cooled, not many add the fresh...

05 Engine , 350 hrs. Previous owner had it in salt for 25% of time. I am also trying to simplify winterizing because my boat is kept in the water year round.
