So, basically, you’re a bigger rule breaker than me!!

You could say that. I follow the rules that are within reason. I followed all of the rules for size, set back, etc. Architectural review is a bit much for a deck and patio. If they ask for more than the city, nope.

Our club house with meeting space, gym, library and changing rooms for the pool has a roof. Roofs are pretty common around here.

I think I saw a leaf floating in that pool; you might want to go scoop that out. Okay, so I'm jealous!
