Does any know a Hull surveyor and Diesel surveyor in the Port Pierce, Florida area.
Looking for someone good and don't want to use the brokers survey.
Also need a Capitan to take a ride with us to get the boat back to Long Island, NY.

For a Captain, reach out to captjohn22@comcast.net... he does a lot of boat deliveries on the East Coast and posts a lot about them on The Bass Barn and does a lot of Henriques. Good luck.

For yacht delivery, try Rusty Higgins. Based in Florida. Was a long time Sea Ray employee heavily involved in the big Sea Ray yachts.

Can’t imagine very many captains who have delivered as many Sea Rays as captain rusty.

He can explain anything on the boat. Lot of people can drive the boat. Rusty will provide an elevated experience.

You might try Mike Minor, 703.929.4798. Mike started surveying after a career as Shop Foreman at Prince William Marine, well known and recognized for Sea Ray service. In addition to knowing most everything about Sea Rays, he's a whiz with Cummins engines as well and is a qualified delivery captain. Not local to Florida but I know he will travel.

Get the deal done and leave it in FL until warmer weather, use the time to get to know the boat and explore a new area
This was one of my thoughts but with the coronavirus restrictions to quarantine this will not be easy, especially being my wife is a nursing supervisor for Suffolk County Department of Health and would be on the radar.
As of now we have 24 hr intervals to look at the boat do surveys ETC.

Recheck the 24 hour rule. It was just changed so that most any travel outside the state requires a test upon return.

Is that the day hatch for engine access? Is there another hatch or larger access point? Seems small for some reason.

Here is another option for a surveyor:

PERFORMANCE MARINE SURVEYORS, INC.
290 W. Palmetto Park Road #314
Boca Raton, FL 33432
954-895-4633
www.performancemarinesurveyors.com High

Ed Cozzi is the surveyor, good guy.

PS- I am not drinking any F%$#ing Merlot (reference to the video)

Essential workers are exempt from the new rules, although her employer may have their own procedures to follow.
