Looking for a good price to replace the vaccu-flush on my 390 SR Express. To buy directly from Sealand is "stiff". Any thought??

Just out of curiosity why are you replacing the whole thing? My resoning would be there are only so many moving/replacable parts to a toilet unless the bowl istself is cracked?

YOu can probably just find a new bowl. Look on Ebay for a used head unit and just get the bowl. Seriously......

Seriously.... the bowl is cracked and seals leak. Any hint's were I can buy a new one. Not buying someones used toilet....Seriously!

Good reply Scott. Similar thoughts to mine. Have you ever used a toilet out then you used a used toilet. Do you only buy new homes or change toilets when you do. There is a cost to “the deal”, new is expensive and used is, well, used.

Lots of EBAY sellers are parts dealers selling new-in-the-box merchandise.

My point exactly. Thank you! I was trying to help by suggesting a used/not-used bowl off Ebay. I see nothing wrong with that. He was looking for a "good price" and apparently did not want to deal with Sealand due to the price. Hmmmm, was just trying to help the guy. Seriously. :smt021

BTW, I am glad he got at least 1 "usefull post"........

While I completely totally agree...try and tell that to the "Only Mate". She would have a complete conniptive fit if I tried to replace a toilet component with a used one of any nature on our (admittedly used) boat...and your cogent and sensible arguments notwithstanding-it wouldn't be worth the potential savings.
