Hi all,
I need some recommendations on a marina in or around Wildwood area for this coming 2015 season for my Sea Ray 215 EC.

Due to my work schedule, I’m only able to take the boat out on Mondays, so very little usage for me this coming season.

We (me, the wife and 10 year old son) like relax on sandbar, cruising around or some minor fishing/crabbing.

I called Schooner Island marina, and they charge $139/ft. I liked this marina a lot (spend 4 days last season here), but their price a little stiff to justify for what I’ll be using.

I also called Pier 47, and they have a slip running for $1400 per season (with 20% discount for first timer) for my size. BUT, they don’t have any shower so that we can rinse off after a boating day.

I guess, I am not looking for something in between. I just want a family orientated, clean, easy access, and safe marina; beside a quick shower, I don’t need all kind of amenities such as swimming pool, private beach, or children playground, etc.

Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, and Happy boating !

Have you checked on Activecaptain.com? Shows all the marinas in the area, has descriptions of the facilities and most have user-reviews.

I would try Utsches in Cape May.... Its not fancy but the people are great...

Very few marinas in Wildwood. From my childhood there used to be a marina in West Wildwood to the west of Otten's harbor. I think this is it http://www.bridgeportfamilymarina.com/ $1750 for a 18-22' slip on A dock. There was also a local home owner that rented slips, they had 5-6 slips for 20' boats behind their house they were located on W 19th St in North Wildwood....

Found this one too - http://www.southdockcafe.com/
