Need some advice....260, 280, or 290

If you look at the two boats side by side, the whole boat sits about a foot or more higher. the cabin reflects that, so does the weeble wobble I suppose.

Like an iceburg, if you see more of the boat above water and it has 1000# more displacement, shouldn't more boat be underwater too? Wider beam too. Not understanding. Must be the hardtop.

Thanks to everyone who replied. It looks like the 320 is out due to bridge clearance issues. So we are now narrowing it down between the 280 and 290, but leaning more towards the 280. We might slow down a bit and wait until the 2010's come out and see if prices on '07's and '08's fall farther....Plus it gives us some time to get ready for the baby!
