Need replacement for shurflo 8050-224-133

nothing comes up on google. as soon as i put a new fuse in it blows so want to replace the pump, figure on a 2000 210 sundeck, its time to replace rather than repair. i want the same size pump so i dont have to worry about relocating the mounting bracket. also to rplace the blower, is there one or 2 blowers and are they generic or do i have to replace with same model number

ShurFlo superceded pumps but unlike other manufacturers their part number changes. Try to match the pump by its specs and you'll find an exact replacement.

1 blower. It'll either be a 3" or 4" - IIRC, 4". Nothing special about blowers, but you can get better "continuous duty" rated models. Not much more money for those. There was a good thread about a month ago discussing continuous duty blowers.

fwebster is correct. Shurflo changed the part numbers to their pumps. I was told by the Shurflo rep that their new number is an exact replacement for my old pump. BUT, I still had to drill new holes to mount it.

I prefer Delvan pumps if you can find one, but i guess it doesn't really matter, the old one on my boat lasted 25 years

Did you ever find where to purchase an 8050-224-133 pump? Or, do you know where to get troubleshooting guides for this pump? I have a 2002 Sundeck 210 and my pump worn't start up.

I think you could contact the company with the info that Shel provided - they can tell you where to buy it.

Do you have a local marine store? Try there.
