I am installing a 5" chrome spot light, I rewired it for a wireless remote, but I still need a red and black at the bow to hook into,I've never looked around up there. Also I was thinking about mounting it on the spoiler, this way you can use it for the back of the boat also, any thoughts on why not ?

If you mount it on the spoiler (arch), it will light up the bow and bow rails too much and kill your night vision. Keep it up forward on the pulpit.

if you need light aft, mount some LED flood lights on the arch. Facing backwards of course...

Quoted because it’s true. Arch mounted floods are miserable

Might get lucky and have a feed up there for it

You can run it off your anchor windlass. Worse case, you may have to "arm" your windlass before using the spot.
