Need help from fellow 01-04 260DA owners

I just purchased the camper package for my 04. As it only came with the single bimini, I have to install the 4 deck hinges for the aft top. Any 01-04 owners willing to take a tape and get the following measurements for me?


Forward bimini, aft hinge to aft bimini, forward hinge
Aft bimini forward hinge to aft hinge

marty, have '04 260 with camper canvas. I'm having trouble understanding the measurements you need. I'm willing to do it but need more info. Are you talking about the rear camper piece and not the rear bimini which I presume you have?

By hinge I guess you are refering to the base of the support poles? If so, you have the radar arch since yours is an '04 correct? Mine is an 03, and I would think you would want measurements from the base of the radar arch. Are you looking for the location of the two circled locations in this picture?

Ultratiger89, the circles on your picture do show the locations of the hinges I'm trying to place.

Moose, my boat did not come with the rear bimini. I need to install the deck hinges to mount this piece

Todd & Dennis, I'm not sure sure the 99-00 hulls are the same as the 01-04. If they are, I'd be grateful for your help.

'99 to '04 are the same. If no one else gets to this before I get home, I'll get it for you. Heck, I'll get it anyway just in case there's any variances.

I'll have the boat later today. I don't have the arch(wish I did....anyone selling?). I'll get those measurements if I can. I'm prepping for an event today and then the Mrs and I are escaping for a few days on the boat.
As stated before I assume you are looking for the measurements for the canvas bases(hinges as you called them).

18.5" from the "crease" (where the arch mounting area meets the top of the gunwale) to the front edge of the first/forward bimini socket of the rear bimini. I didn't see a need to measure to the second/rear bimini socket because of how it is mounted.

Just make a mark 18.5" back from the crease. Set your first/forward bimini socket up to the line (in other words, right behind it). Look at the pics for the placement of the rear sockets. Don't worry, if you're a bit off on the rear ones, you'll be fine.

I tried to figure out a way to make marks right on the picture, but I have a MAC and only have iPhoto. I couldn't figure out a way to do it. I hope you understand what my directions are.

Todd, I called them deck hinges, because thats how they are described here:
