need big help asap motor down

I told you all yesterday you have been taken for a ride since the begining of this thread. Read it from the beginning and you will see it unfold. Read his last two posts, a miracle happens he can type.... Where on earth has anyone typed the start of a sentence with "k" ????? So you thought he was abbreviating the word "ok"?????
REALLY???????

k you say the bellow fix is $500 thats for that 1 rubber/plastic ribbed hose ??? i have already bought a rebuilt engine iam having installed how much more is it going to be to put new bellow and new seal round outdrive and check outdrive while motor is out? the boat shop gave me a price of $600 to change the engine dress the new engine and put back in... you say its going to be another $500 for bellows?:smt100

You have ignored every reasonable request to clean up your act, but yet you still have the nerve to ask everyone to help you and expect the same level of help after you blatantly defy all these requests. The sad part is if you really were interested in our recommendations, there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and I can assure you that your situation (mechanically speaking) is nothing new or out of the realm of most on this forum. My recommendation might be to put your tail between your legs and clean up you communication skills, and start asking specific and concise questions that will possibly save you a ton of money.

larry chill out what is your problem? what requst have i ignored? i pulled exhaust i done pressure test on heads i got a new motor... look iam just trying to get this boat fixed and it has already cost me more than i want to even think bout ...but iam to much into it to sink it and not enough into it to run it.. i see nothing wrong with my communication i have no problem reading or understanding none of this is this a forum or a college english spelling class? get a life and if thats all you have to say go some were else and talk that crap:smt038

How about this picture? It's a bullcrap detector. I lifted it from a fellow forum member.

Have the mechanic check your bellows while he is doing your engine.
Also, Pick up a service manual for your engine/drive.
Not the best, But SELOC has a cheap one. 35.00 compared to 100.00 for a OEM service manual.
You can look at the pictures and have an idea of what makes your boat tic. You can even get a free West Marine catalog. It shows a lot of rigging and proper marine setups.
You also get to look at lots of high dollar marine parts that go bad.
Is this your first boat?
