need advice on my new toy 1974 srv220 with the 225

I have had boats my my whole life but outboards and this is my first classic . I have had this boat a short time and have put alot of elbow greese on it. ive never had a sterndrive . Im looking for other people with this same boat . or close I would like to hear the ins and outs on this boat whats the best prop for speed and and maintainance. what oils etc this boat also has all the owners manuals and all papperwork from when it was new if people need copies let me know .I have the bikini top its torn but I have it and the frame I need it replaced any ideas out there also looking for a good boat cover . anyone else here from wyoming

a engine serial number will get you a manual and a pic of the drive for a drive manual.
Basics :
impeller or water pump kit every 2 years if used or not
manually grease the steering tube
grease hinge pins(if equipped) gimbal bearing , pull prop and grease etc
Cover dash/ gauge panel
