Thanks! I called him today and plan to have him survey the boat Saturday. Sounds like a very thorough guy when it comes to surveying boats.

I'm not sure I got everything in the "sales pitch", but what I got was thorough, accurate and professional and I thought I got value for the dollar. Michael's family is in the powerboat racing business, and he certainly seemed to know his way around each of the systems on the boat...with little regard for the Seller's perspective.
I hope we get to that point. The current owner wanted an offer today so I made one...he wasn't happy with it but that's what happens when you push. I told him today that a survey was a must.
It sounded like Micheal would at least be exposing any potential deal killers.
