Need a Northstar NS100 VHF Handset

I bought a 2006 320 Sundancer with a Norhtstar NS100 VHF. Unfortunately there was no handset on the boat. I'd like to upgrade the system at some point but will stick with this system if I can find a handset. It looks like I've seen a few cord replacement options as well so I'd consider one that needs attention. Ebay didn't turn up any results at the moment either. Thanks in advance.

I think I still have a handset for this. It was working when I upgraded the system last year but it is missing some of the insulation.

I spent a long time searching for a replacement NorthStar handset before breaking down and buying a new complete unit. The very few I found (a year ago), upon investigation, had the same problem I was having (broken cord, could receive and not transmit). Unless you have a strong handheld as a backup, I would be weary of buying a pre-owned unit that is likely well over 10 years old and think of the reason the current owner is no longer using it. Northstar is out of business and all the NS100 models are going to have the same problem of cord insulation failing due to age. While it was a great radio (IMO), the cord material just didn't last.

If you want to replace it with a similar black-box type radio, I would suggest the Icom M400BB. Great radio, pretty easy to install, good function set. It's also one of the less expensive black box radios available. It's hard to reuse the Northstar speaker unit though, because it's not just a speaker. I also didn't find a suitable aftermarket speaker at the time, so I just abandoned the NS speaker in place. See pic below with the Icom and the NS100 speaker below it.
