Looking for a used one not to far from Cincinnati (to use next season).

Something like this:

Be careful on what type you get. Some are back killers. My old marina had one type and it normally took two adults to lift the ski up and back it up enough to let it slide off. The best ones have rollers to assist.

Thanks for info....def want one with rollers.

I have a Hydroport 2. Very easy to get the ski off. Check Craigslist as they are often listed there.

The ole "Glide and Ride"........nice.

Just my two cents but you don't need a floating lift with rollers. I've installed many models and salt water wise the rollers are more of a pain. I had my ski and now my dinghy on a plain plastic style foating lift. Run some water under the ski for a minute and it will sldie right off.

I am on a freshwater lake.

I know Quint, I was just throwing it out there for everyone to think about.

i am on salt water, and used to have the sport port. now i have a jet dock, and find the jet dock way easier to use because of the "flex" you get from the cubes. my wife and daughters could never get the 3 seater 4-stroke (800lbs) off the sport port by themselves, but have no issues with the jet dock. the jet dock is more expensive, but i think its worth it. just my 2 cents.

A trick I learned when your jet ski dock gets a little sticky... spray a little bit of PAM cooking spray on the glide paths. I use about 3 seconds of spray per side, hitting the different levels that come into contact with the ski. A little bit will do and it usually lasts about 2 weeks for me. Use too much and you'll have a hard time keeping that ski on the dock.
