Hi folks- this is my first post.
I have a 1984 Silverton aft cabin and I just bought a 2004 Navigator that was on EBay.
Please forgive me if these are repeat questions and I'll try to be specific as I can be
1) Are you generally satisfied with your Navigator?
2) Have you found it intuitive to use?
3) How important are the updates? Are they worth the money? Can you download free charts from say NOAA?
4) DO any of your updated versions have AIS? Was it easy to add on?
5) Can the Navigator interface with Radar?
6) If you installed yours how easy was it?
7) Any major drawback or limitations?
8) Any post release apps for it in the last few years?

I have a 1999 Navigator. Other than rebuilding the transmission at 220,000, which was inexpensive, it's been pretty good. Just replaced the rear axle locating arms due to corrosion, but still not bad for 340,000 miles.

GPS wasn't an option until 2000, so I don't know about updates for that system.
