Has anyone upgraded the looks of the port and star nav lights? have seen sleeker looking ones on other boats but wondering what fits without any additional mod.

I make a face at these every time I wash our boat. Haven't done any serious upgrade shopping for a replacement...

Take a look at what Perko, Attwood, Innovative Lighting, etc offer to see if they have something with a base plate that is a sufficient size to at least cover the existing screw holes. You may want to first remove your existing side lights and measure so you know what to look for.

Dean I upgraded to SS led’s similar to what I think are sportfish style. Innovative lighting I remember 4 years now no rust.
Ok this is the best shot I have they sit on the flat spot after you remove the old crusty ones I just compounded the area and vahla! Simple.

Thanks Joe! That's a good, nice and low profile. Will do search.

I guess the trick is to make sure it is a fixture that is meant to be mounted vertically so it is properly visible to the front and side.

Polished stainless would be nice...

Joe, i think this might be them? Don't see red/green option though. The ones other have posted above doesn't appear to be for side mounts.

These look like the direct replacement from Perko but doesn't look as sleek as what you did.

Attwood has some flush (close to flush, anyways) mount lights. I think I've seen that SeaDog has some, too. Just an FYI - depending on where on the scale of "sleek vs labor time" you wanted to be.

If nothing else, remove them and paint them. A fresh coat of white paint would improve the looks.

I have to say those look like alien bug eyes to me I always hated the original lights
My lights have slits in them much more of a Modern updated look with the led you don’t need that big lense. That’s my opinion.

I agree on the look Joe. I order up the one from Innovative. $76 for the pair. I have a dock mate that has the new Cruiser Cantius and they seem to be using the same. Its a nice look so will take pics once installed. Thanks for the feedback all.
