"The lake was calm Wednesday, but there will be anywhere from 5000 to 10,000 boats on the water over Memorial Day weekend. And more boats create the potential for big problems.

The one thing about my region is that everyone scatters across the state. Many head to inland lakes and camp/boat but even though the boat launches are more crowded the volumes are dispersed

Good question. It said 3rd most dangerous lake, not body of water. I remember a time when LOTO was third most dangerous body of water behind the Colorado River and Atlantic Ocean.
