Alright this little guy comes right after my fuel selector knob for my generator. It is some type of marine fuel valve that states Fuel/TROL on it and has a normal and by- pass valve set screw. Its 12 volts and pushes 10 psi before it gets to the electric fuel pump on the genset.

I'm guessing it just helps regulate fuel coming from the tank before it gets to the elecectic fuel pump on the genet? Will it hurt to by pass this and have the fuel pump pulling directly from the tank? I'm having fuel delivery issues. Pump works fine, but I think this little device might be my problem.

Anyway to test this little guy, just has a little solenoid on it?

It's just a simple fuel shut off valve.
