2005 Sea Ray 420 Sedan Bridge
Engines
Twin Cummins 6 CTA 8.3 (430hp)
In December we purchased a 2005 420 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge. Fresh water boat up until this past summer, relocated from Lake Powell, Ohio to Chesapeake Bay. Very excited, stepped up from a 2006 340 Sundancer, even with this mild winter we are down to the marina at East Point, on Onancock Creek almost every weekend discovering new things about the boat. I'm getting use to diesels, twin Cummins 6 CTA 8.3 (430hp) engine room is like new. Currently ordering new beds and carpets to replace originals. During summer months we spend most weekends somewhere on the Bay. Would appreciate feedback from anyone with similar boat or engines. thanks Richard lewis

Thanks, will do on the pics soon, this site helps the winter boat man blues.....

Congrats & welcome!

He's been a member since 2009 He just doesn't post much... glad that he has come out of his shell...

Congrats on your new boat.

Your engines are most likely the Cummins 480CE's. They are the electronic version of the Cummins 6CTA's.

I love the 420 DA's and DB's. If I ever hit the lottery (maybe I should start playing it), a 420DA/44DA will be the first depreciating asset I blow money on.

OK Jason, Im an idiot, how do i download pics ????????????????????? RIchard , thanks

Yes... you have been trolling the CSR waters for a few years! Welcome!

For the pictures, use the advanced mode, and manage attachments.

Richard, beautiful boat... simply stunning... I think you got the pic thing sorted. Don't get frustrated it takes some time to get the hang of it... again wow, what a beauty...

Beautiful boat... PM Alex F if you have any questions, he is a wealth of information on the 420 SD...
